Hi!!
Our last communication was last year and since then we have continued with our project, after a short break. With this publication, we would like to inform you about our latest news. As we said in our last email, we divided the initial documentary into 2 different projects:
- Ni Naiz Naizena (webserie)
- My Way Out (documentary)
As for the web series, we received some funds to produce the pilot episode by 2deo, Gipuzkoa’s Regional Council and the Basque Government’ Creative Factory. With these grants, we have started editing the pilot (1st episode) and we will finish it in the next few weeks. And, of course, you will be the first to view the episode! We are making a pretty neat chapter, with Aitzole Araneta as the protagonist and the episode will feature incredible photographs by the talented artist Eduardo Gaviña (Yogurinha Borova).
The most important thing that has happened with this project is that the association GEHITU and Mugen Gainetik have joined as collaborators, which will allow us to make 10 chapters of 10 minutes each. The 10 complete episodes can be watched in early 2021, on a website that will be created for this specific purpose.
We also have the documentary MY WAY OUT. We completed all the filming in 2018 and 2019 and we will begin the editing work in the coming weeks. We have new co-producers, Alternative Content, who will be responsible for the postproduction of music and sound. It is a music company with a lot of experience and we are very happy to collaborate with them. The documentary project was presented at the Work in Progress section of Zinegoak film festival last week, and was very well received.
As you can see, we have been working very hard and we are now in the final stretch. We will write again soon, but in the meantime we send you some photos of the two projects.
